[ There was a question Poe had and he could onlh go to a Jedi for it. He felt that Qui-Gon would be the best option on the end because of his previous actions towards events. He will be making a connection sometime in the early morning close to lunch time.

I apologize if I'm interrupting any meditation or morning routines you may have.

[ His voice is calm and steady but there may be a brief of anxious nerves within the connection. ]

I have a question and maybe you can offer some help. If someone were to be disrespectful to the Jedi teachings in some way or form, what is the best way to make up on that? Would a simple apology do or can there be more with it?

[ He doesn't want to offend any of them further. He's not even sure what Obi-Wan makes of him. But he knows Obi-Wan becomes a strong old Jedi. Strong enough to fight evil and create a story of hope. ]

For more insight, I will only know the heroic stories of the Jedi. To go along with that everything, I may know is just second hand knowledge and there might be things I don't really know. Not so much as the teachings and what everything else means to you and the rest of the Jedi.

It depends on the transgression.

The Jedi are individualistic, despite what the strictness of our code may suggest. A show of repentance for one may not work for another.

Although, showing genuine remorse is as good a start than any.

Well, I don't know any of your codes. I would think any transgression would look bad. The future, unfortunately, hasn't seen any Jedi in a long time. There are nothing but stories left.

I do want to say though, any story, that I have heard has brought on hope. [ He's gonna have to make it up to Obi-Wan later, and he plans on it for being disrespectful before. ] I know I said something to another and it probably came out horribly wrong than what I had intended. Not only do I want to show an apology but I want to give thanks too.

My actions haven't been the best to certain individuals. Some I will be dealing with consequence for a long while.

How would you rate giving an item to someone thats shown you they can be more human than the monster you knew back home?

[ Can is... the keyword in all of this. But he can have hopes and dreams, right? He knew about Mustafar, but he hadn't had known about the burden that Obi-Wan had placed upon himself. ]

[Qui-Gon's connection over the amulets remains calm and kind despite those words, so he can best let Poe know that he isn't angry with him per se. He can understand actions made out of ignorance, but he cannot excuse them. It isn't his or the Jedi way.]

I spoke with Obi-Wan about what happened. This was after a... difficult situation had arisen with Anakin, so I've witnessed the aftermath personally.

The significance of a lightsaber to a Jedi is past the point of reverence. It isn't just a weapon to us. To pass one along to someone else without consulting its true owner--even if that owner is difficult to discern--is offensive at best.

No, it wasn't just an item.

[ Poe wasn't the best at lying. He really wasn't at all but mostly figuring out things due to his ignorance. Through the connection Qui-Gon will feel sorrow. There's a bit of frustration too since he wasn't aware of the other outcome it had created with them too. ]

I understand that I was ignorant. I do wish to learn more about the Jedi. I really didn't mean to cause a domino affect on this situation either. If you're willing, maybe, you could teach me a few things so I better understand. So that I won't make the same mistakes again and hurt your code and with others along the way.

What can I do in order to make up for that offense to the Jedi? I have done something similar in the past to something I didn't even know was Jedi related either. And after I did, I made sure to take steps to right what wrong I had done.
