Qui-Gon can feel the approach of a familiar Force signature as Ezra enters the house and easily puts two and two together. He slowly slips out of his bed, brushes his messy hair out of his face, and takes a brief moment to grab one of the tea bags the boy had given him for his birthday barely two weeks ago--just in case. Satisfied with his preparations (even if his hair is still all over the place), Qui-Gon shuffles barefoot into the living room and up to the young Padawan.
"Good evening," he murmurs, greeting Ezra with a calming hand to the shoulder.
